Skill Profile
The Skill Profile is a personal record for Talent and Candidate users, showing the skills they've evidenced by completing assessments on Skilladder.
Who sees it
The Skill Profile is only available to Talent and Candidate roles. It is not shown to company administrators, staff, or any operator role — the profile belongs to the individual, not to the organisation running the assessments.
If an admin account shows a Skill Profile in the sidebar, that account has been set up with incorrect roles. Escalate to #producttech_cooking with the user's email address.
What it contains
- Skills the user has evidenced through submitted assessments
- Assessment history — which assessments have been completed and when
- Any recommendations or prompts the product generates based on their results
The profile builds up over time. A new user or someone who hasn't yet completed an assessment will see an empty or minimal profile — this is normal.
Common question
"A candidate says their Skill Profile looks empty."
Check:
- They fully submitted their most recent assessment, not just started it.
- Enough time has passed — the profile may take a few minutes to update after submission.
- The assessment was a live assessment (not a preview session).
