:::note Why you might see fewer menus than a colleague

Sidebar items are hidden when your role doesn't have access to them. A missing menu is almost always a permissions difference, not an outage.

Main sidebar menus

Assessments	Company admins, staff (with permission), Directory, Platform, MCA	Browse, create, and manage assessments. Hidden for Talent and Candidate users.
Templates	Company admins, staff (with permission), Directory, Platform, MCA	Manage reusable assessment templates.
Candidates	Company admins, staff with View results & analytics permission, Staff viewer, MCA, Platform	Directory of candidates who have taken assessments. Directory admins do not see this menu — by design.
Skill Profile	Talent / Candidate users only	Personal skills record for the participant. Not shown to admin roles.
Skills	Company admins, Directory, Platform, MCA, and some staff	Browse the skills taxonomy — skills, roles, and job families.
Question Bank	Platform and Directory (full operator access); MCA, company admins, eligible staff (browse and use)	Shared library of assessment questions. See Question Bank.
Companies	MCA and Platform admins	Navigate and manage multiple company accounts. Hidden for single-company admins.

These appear only for Platform admins and, in some cases, MCA accounts with specific configuration:

Registration domains	Manage which email domains are permitted for sign-up at a platform level
