Assessment invites

When a company administrator sends an assessment invite, the candidate receives an email with a unique link. That link takes them to the assessment's landing page — separate from the main Skilladder sign-in page.


The landing page shows the assessment name and a brief description. From there, the candidate has two options:

Sign InAlready has a Skilladder account — signs in and connects to the assessment

Always direct first-time candidates through Sign Up on the invite page, not through the main Skilladder homepage. The invite link sets up the right context for the assessment automatically.


Common issues and fixes

For CS escalations

If a candidate issue doesn't resolve with the steps above, collect the following before escalating to #producttech_cooking:

  • The invite link (with personal details removed if needed)
  • The email address the invite was sent to
  • The error message the candidate saw and approximately when
