Participant — Skill Profile

Goal: Help a Talent or Candidate user find and understand their personal Skill Profile.

The Skill Profile shows a participant's evidenced skills and assessment history. It is personal — only they can see their own profile.

Who can do this: Talent and Candidate personas only. The Skill Profile is not available to administrator roles.

Steps

  1. Sign in to Skilladder.
  2. Click Skill Profile in the sidebar.
  3. Review the summary — it shows skills you've evidenced, assessment history, and any prompts for retakes or learning resources.

The profile builds up over time as you complete assessments — it won't be very detailed until at least one assessment has been submitted.

If the page looks empty

  • Make sure your recent assessment was fully submitted, not just started.
  • If you have a pending invite you haven't completed yet, see Accept an assessment invite to complete it.
  • The profile may take a short time to update after submission — refresh after a few minutes.

If Skill Profile is not in the sidebar

The Skill Profile is only available to Talent and Candidate roles. If you're a company administrator or staff member and don't see it, that's expected — this feature is for the people taking assessments, not for the people administering them.
