Create assessment from job description (JD intake)

Self-service (or assisted) path to raise a structured intake from pasted job description text, producing assessment configuration aligned to taxonomy fields.

Prerequisites​

  • canAccessCreateAssessmentFromJd mirrors create assessment rights (Talent, Candidate, Staff Viewer excluded).
  • Platform / Directory admins may additionally see portfolio company selectors when cross-company deployment is allowed.

Steps​

  1. From Assessments list, use the entry that references job description / JD (sparkle icon route) or browse directly to /create-assessment.
  2. If company dropdown appears, pick the target tenant (portfolio operators).
  3. Paste JD source text into the large text area (minimum length enforced—watch validation).
  4. Work through AssessmentRequestStructuredFields sections (Foundational / Hard skills / Soft skills / Values groupings—labels mirror SPEC_SECTION_LABELS in product).
  5. Submit / Create (wording on button) to persist the request or spawn downstream assessment work depending on implementation stage.
  6. On success, follow automatic router redirect (may send you to assessment detail or requests list).
