Prerequisites

• Navigation requires canNavigateToCandidates.
  • Directory admin personas normally omit this menu (content-vs-ops separation).
  • Company staff need canViewResults for many read paths (exports also rely on permission chain).

Search the roster

1. Sidebar → Candidates (hidden for pure talent personas).
2. Use filters & search analogous to Assessments listing (skills, statuses—trust UI).
3. Page through results.

Open a profile

1. Click a candidate row → /candidates/[candidate-id].
2. Inspect tabs/sections exposing assessment history, evidence flags, timelines (vary by rollout).
3. Use sanctioned export actions only when entitlement allows (canExportAssessmentResults lineage).

Support pitfalls

Symptom	Likely cause
Menu missing entirely	Wrong role (isTalentLike, Directory admin, unresolved permissions payload).
Empty table despite invites	Timing—candidate may not yet have authenticated; verify invite expiry.
